WHAT IT DOES?
The factory center support bearing carrier on these vehicles uses a thin rubber bushing that’s designed to isolate noise at the expense of rigidity. Over time this rubber becomes brittle, sags, and cracks, allowing the driveshaft to misalign, which can lead to sloppy driveline feel and vibration.
This upgraded carrier replaces that weak link with a two-piece, high-strength design that clamps around the OEM bearing, holding it centered and consistent under all conditions, from daily driving to spirited throttle inputs.
