Berg Peaks Project Peppa MkII - 2004 Porsche Cayenne
Peppa has always been one of those vehicles that means a little more around here. Originally commissioned as a collaboration build with 1UP USA, this 2004 Cayenne Turbo quickly became one of the most recognizable Berg Peaks builds we've ever created. Purpose-built to tackle everything from mountain passes to Moab slickrock, it was never a showpiece, as it was built to be driven.
Years and countless adventures later, Peppa found its way back home.
What started as a refresh quickly became something much more. Every system was inspected, restored, upgraded, and refined. The goal wasn't to reinvent the 2004 Cayenne we had built a few years back, but to preserve everything that made it special while applying everything we've learned since it first rolled out of the shop.
This is Peppa MkII.
The original spirit remains intact: a 500-horsepower twin-turbo equally at home on the highway or crawling over rocks. But nearly every detail has been revisited. Mechanical components were refreshed. The exterior received a bold transformation, without losing the personality that made Peppa, well... Peppa.
The final piece was something we've wanted to do for a long time, a completely new livery designed in-house by the Berg Peaks team. Inspired by Porsche's motorsport heritage and the vehicle's own storied past, the new graphics package marks the beginning of its second chapter and proudly carries the Peppa MkII name.
There's something fitting about one of our oldest builds becoming one of our newest again. Peppa isn't a museum piece and it isn't retired. It's still exactly what it was always meant to be: a Cayenne that begs to get dirty, disappear into the mountains, and back it with a few more stories to tell.
Some projects get finished. The good ones simply evolve. Peppa MkII is proof of that.
